ChristianHoff14BioBorn in San Francisco, Christian moved to San Diego as a young boy and became involved in San Diego Junior Theater at the age of 8. Within months he knew that theater was what he wanted to do as a career, and by age ten he was appearing with Shirley MacLaine on her television special “Every Little Movement.” Soon after this, Christian transferred to the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, which he continued at through high school. A performing arts magnet, the school was supportive of his budding acting career, which included his first Actors’ Equity role in the West Coast production of Evita at the Schubert Theater.

ChristianHoffBio15Christian’s big theater break came when he attended an open call for the La Jolla Playhouse’s production of The Who’s Tommy, directed by Des McAnuff – who would later direct Jersey Boys. A huge fan of The Who, Christian threw himself into the audition, catching the attention of choreographer Wayne Cilento who appreciated his energy and enthusiasm. The show eventually transitioned to Broadway, with Christian continuing as a member of the original cast.

Christian is currently on tour with The Midtown Men featuring 4 of the original cast members of Jersey Boys.
