Christian Hoff - Tony Award Winner and Entertainer

Christian Hoff is a Tony Award winner best known for his pivotal 2006 win for Best Featured Actor in a Musical in Broadway’s Jersey Boys, which also earned him a second Grammy Award for his performance on the show’s original cast album, alongside his Broadway debut in The Who’s Tommy. He is a member of the Recording Academy and the founder of the Broadway vocal group The Midtown Men, with whom he has performed more than a thousand concerts over two decades of international concert tours. Hoff’s recording highlights have brought him into collaboration with some of music’s most respected names, including George Martin, Pete Townshend, Bob Gaudio, Stevie Van Zandt and the E Street Band, as well as Mark Ronson for the Barbie movie soundtrack. 

Beyond music, Hoff commands a reputation as a versatile performer and was dubbed the “Master of Mimicry” by Entertainment Weekly after surpassing the Guinness World Record for the most voices performed in an audiobook. He holds the distinction of being the first actor to portray Walt Disney on film in One Man’s Dream and originated the title role in Hanna-Barbera’s Richie Rich cartoon series. Hoff’s film and television credits are extensive and include notable appearances in several christian hoff movies and tv shows like Encino Man, Star Trek IV, 21 Jump Street, ER, JAG, Party of Five, Millennium, The Commish, Beverly Hills 90210, Honor Thy Mother, In Love and War, and From the Dead of Night. Additionally, he has had recurring and guest roles on Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: Criminal Intent (as federal prosecutor Thomas Grady), Ugly Betty (as D.A. Richard Blackman), and All My Children (as Marty). He has also made celebrity appearances on The Tonight Show, The Today Show, Regis, The Late Show, Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve, and as a live Jeopardy! clue with Alex Trebek.

Hoff’s work as a speaker, entertainer, and investor has taken him across North America, Asia, and Europe. 

Christian’s family is currently fighting extraordinary cancer battles: his daughter Ella, who was diagnosed with leukemia at age three, faced these challenges alongside his wife Melissa, who is fighting breast cancer. After a six-year remission, Ella relapsed but has triumphed again and is currently in a second remission, while Christian is confronting a blood cancer known as multiple myeloma, eagerly awaiting a cure. These experiences resonate deeply within every community, fueling his voice of advocacy for research and treatment access.

As a host, entertainer, and auctioneer for cancer research fundraising, Hoff has played a significant role in raising awareness and funds nationwide. As a committee chair with the V Foundation Wine Celebration for Cancer Research Board, he has actively helped direct over $150 million in research grant funding. Hoff has been honored with the Chemotherapy Foundation’s 2023 NYC Inspire Award and as the V Foundation 2024 President’s Luncheon honoree. In partnership with Memorial Sloan Kettering and Dr. Michael Peled, a research initiative bearing his name is now exploring the link between cancer and the microbiome.

Additionally, Hoff is a passionate artist advocate for several causes, including the new NC Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House, The Who’s Teen Cancer America, MusicWill, and the American Cancer Society.
